Ride For Orphans
What: a solo benefit ride to raise awareness for orphan care
Why: to raise $75,000 for 2 orphan charities
How: by bike commuting to work for 6 months and by reaching a goal of 2,500 miles ridden - April 1st to September 30th, 2010
According to a recent Unicef report there are over 143 million ophans world wide. To put that into perspspctive, that's almost half of the reported US Population!
